Our Privacy Commitment
YouTube Playlist Analyzer is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our service.
🔒 Key Point: We do not collect, store, or track any personal information. Your privacy is completely protected.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- • Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
- • YouTube account information or login credentials
- • Playlist data or video information
- • IP addresses or location data
- • Browser fingerprints or device information
- • Usage patterns or behavioral data
How Our Service Works
When you analyze a YouTube playlist:
- You provide a YouTube playlist URL
- Our service fetches public data from YouTube's API
- Analysis is performed in real-time
- Results are displayed to you immediately
- No data is stored on our servers
YouTube API Usage
We use YouTube's Data API v3 to fetch public playlist information. This service:
- • Only accesses publicly available playlist data
- • Does not access your YouTube account
- • Does not track your YouTube activity
- • Complies with YouTube's Terms of Service
Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses minimal cookies only for:
- • Theme preference (dark/light mode)
- • Basic website functionality
We do not use:
- • Analytics cookies
- • Advertising cookies
- • Third-party tracking cookies
- • Social media tracking pixels
Third-Party Services
We only use essential third-party services:
- • YouTube Data API v3: For fetching playlist information
- • Hosting Provider: For website infrastructure
These services have their own privacy policies and we do not control their data practices.
Data Security and Technical Implementation
Since we don't store any user data, there's no risk of data breaches or unauthorized access to your information. All analysis happens in real-time and results are not saved.
Our technical architecture is designed with privacy as a core principle:
- • Client-Side Processing: All playlist analysis calculations occur in your browser, not on our servers. This means your playlist URLs and analysis results never leave your device.
- • No Server-Side Storage: We don't maintain databases, logs, or any persistent storage of user activity. Each analysis session is completely independent.
- • Direct API Communication: When you analyze a playlist, your browser communicates directly with YouTube's API. We act as a pass-through, not a data collector.
- • HTTPS Encryption: All communications are encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols, ensuring your data remains secure in transit.
- • No Session Tracking: We don't use session IDs, user tokens, or any mechanism to track your usage across multiple visits.
What Happens to Your Playlist URLs
When you paste a playlist URL into our analyzer, here's exactly what happens:
- URL Validation: Your browser validates the URL format locally before any network request is made.
- API Request: Your browser sends the playlist ID (extracted from the URL) directly to YouTube's API. The full URL is never sent to our servers.
- Data Processing: YouTube returns public playlist data (video titles, durations, thumbnails) which is processed entirely in your browser.
- Display: Results are displayed immediately and exist only in your browser's memory.
- Cleanup: When you close the browser tab or navigate away, all data is cleared. Nothing persists.
This architecture means that even if someone gained access to our servers, they would find no user data, no playlist URLs, and no analysis history - because none of it exists on our infrastructure.
Your Rights and Control
Since we don't collect personal data, you have complete control:
- • No Account Required: You can use our service without providing any identifying information.
- • No Data to Delete: Since we don't store your data, there's nothing to request deletion of.
- • No Opt-Out Needed: There' nothing to opt out of because we don't track or collect data in the first place.
- • Complete Anonymity: Every analysis session is anonymous by design. We have no way to identify or track individual users.
Children's Privacy
Our service does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any personal information, our service is safe for all users.
